Chameleon PDF (formerly Bukalemun PDF) · Last updated: 11 September 2026

Summary: Chameleon PDF does not collect, store or share any personal data. We run no server. Your files never leave your device.

Data we collect

None. The app does not ask you to create an account, does not collect your name, e-mail, phone number or location, does not read the advertising ID, and uses no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting service.

Your files

You choose the file to convert with Android's own file picker, and the app can access only that file. Conversion runs entirely on your device with the LibreOffice engine built into the app; nothing is uploaded, and the app works in airplane mode.

Converted PDFs are kept in the app's private folder and are deleted if you uninstall the app. You can move them elsewhere with "Save as", "Save to Downloads", or by sharing them.

When you save pages as images, they are written to Pictures/Chameleon PDF on your device. On Android 10 and later this needs no storage permission; on older versions the app offers sharing instead.
